Another day, another step closer to home

I am happy to report that John had his feeding tube removed today. From now on he will be getting his nourishment from either breast or bottle. This is tremendous news, since neither method requires him to be hospitalized. His weight has gone up to 5 lbs, 7.7 ounces. The doctors told us today that he should be home by the end of the week!

Needless to say we are ecstatic and are counting the days 'til the little man is fully released. I want to once again thank everyone for keeping John in their thoughts and prayers. I really believe it made a difference.
